An introductory year 7 PSHCE lesson covering cyberbullying. Students learn about key concepts and design an awareness campaign. By the end of this lesson, students should: • Know what cyberbullying is • Know why cyberbullying is important • Understand the consequences of it • Know how to be responsible online • Know how to deal with cyberbullying Vocabulary • Cyberbullying • Trolling • Anonymity Students will be asked to create an awareness campaign about cyberbullying. This should involve designing a logo, agreeing key ideas in groups and designing badges, t-shirts, wristbands as well as posters to spread the message.
